About the position
We are hiring experienced CDL drivers in the Jurupa Valley, CA hiring area for OTR Dry Van regional routes across the Southwest Tri‑State (CA, NV, AZ). Enjoy 34‑hour restarts every two weeks with a mix of live load/unload, preload, and drop‑and‑hook freight, dedicated planners, and consistent runs. Earn an average of $1,100–$1,400 per week with 1,800–2,100 weekly miles and 10 solo openings available immediately. Must have at least 1 year of experience.
Pay & schedule
- Starting mileage pay: Standard OTR Mileage Pay Scale
- Average weekly earnings: $1,100 – $1,400
- Weekly mileage: 1,800 – 2,100 miles
- Short haul pay: Same as OTR rate
- Stop pay: $15 per stop
- Unload pay: $25 assist, $80 full hand
Home time & schedule
- Home every two weeks – with 34‑hour restarts
- Both day and night shifts available
- Weekend work required
- Holiday work expected – you can work with your driver leader for holidays off if possible
- Winter driving conditions in some areas
- Possible to pass through the house throughout the week pending on runs

Driver requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor‑trailer experience
- Clean MVR and PSP – no major preventable accidents
- Must pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Must live within 150 miles of any Southern California city
- Endorsements: none required
- Owner operators and teams are not accepted – solo drivers only
- Trainees not accepted
Things to know
- Weekends off are not guaranteed – schedule is based on freight demand
- Must maintain a high safety score and remain crash‑free
- Night and early morning driving is a regular requirement
- Holiday work may be required based on operational needs
- No transition bonus and no sign‑on bonus
