Privacy Policy

Updated: Sep 6, 2026 Your Data, Protected

Remms LLC (referred to as "we," "our," or "us") is a specialized CDL truck driver recruitment agency headquartered in Austin, Texas. We are committed to transparency and safeguarding the privacy of every commercial driver who trusts us with their career journey. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the rights you have over your information.

Our service is completely free for drivers. We never charge drivers for job matching or placement. Your career opportunities are our priority — no fees, no hidden costs.

1. What Personal Data We Collect

When you complete the driver application form on our website, we collect the following categories of personal information:

Full name Phone number Email address CDL license (class, endorsements, state, expiry) Work history (employers, experience, accident record) Current location & availability

We may also collect optional details such as equipment preferences, special certifications, or any additional notes you provide in free‑text fields.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your information is used exclusively for recruitment and placement purposes. Specifically, we rely on your data to:

  • Match you with suitable carrier partners based on your CDL class, experience, endorsements, and geographic preferences.
  • Facilitate job referrals — we present your profile (with your consent) to carriers actively seeking drivers.
  • Communicate with you about potential opportunities, application status, and follow‑up questions.
  • Improve our matching algorithms and the overall user experience on our platform.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes outside the recruitment process.

3. Do We Share Your Data with Carrier Clients?

Yes, but only with your explicit consent and strictly for recruitment purposes.

When we identify a potential match with one of our carrier partners, we share a limited subset of your information — typically your name, CDL details, work history summary, and contact information — so the carrier can evaluate your fit and reach out to you directly.

We require every carrier partner to sign a data processing agreement that obligates them to use your information solely for recruitment and hiring decisions, and to delete it within a reasonable time if no hire occurs.

You may withdraw your consent to share your data with carriers at any time by contacting us (see Section 6).

4. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. This helps us improve our content, user experience, and recruitment tools. Google Analytics collects anonymized data such as pages visited, time spent, referral sources, and device type. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

Google AdSense

We may display advertisements through Google AdSense to help support our platform. AdSense uses cookies to serve relevant ads based on your prior visits to our site or other websites. These cookies do not contain any of your personal data from our driver application form.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings or using the NAI opt‑out tool.

Cookie Preferences

Most browsers allow you to manage cookie preferences. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note that blocking certain cookies may affect the functionality of our site.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

  • Active driver profiles: We keep your information on file for up to 18 months after your last interaction with us (e.g., application submission, job placement, or communication).
  • Inactive profiles: If you have not engaged with us for 18 months, we will delete or anonymize your personal data.
  • Legal or regulatory obligations: Some data may be retained for a longer period (e.g., tax or employment records) where required by applicable law.

You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 6 below).

6. How to Request Deletion of Your Data

You have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal data that we hold. To submit a deletion request, please:

  1. Send an email to info@hirewithremms.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
  2. Include your full name, phone number, and email address so we can verify your identity.
  3. Specify whether you would like your data deleted entirely or simply removed from active matching (we can also "deactivate" your profile without full deletion if you prefer).

We will respond to your request within 30 days. Upon verification, we will delete your personal data from our active systems and, where applicable, notify any carrier partners who have received your data to delete it as well.

For any privacy‑related questions, you can also reach us at info@hirewithremms.com or by mail at our Austin office (address provided upon request).

7. Data Security

We implement industry‑standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:

  • Encryption of data in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest.
  • Access controls — only authorized personnel with a legitimate need can view driver data.
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

While no system is 100% secure, we are committed to continuously improving our safeguards to protect your privacy.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are directed to professional commercial drivers who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

10. Affiliate Products & Promotions

To keep our recruitment services 100% free for drivers, we may participate in affiliate marketing programs. This means we may promote products or services — such as CDL training courses, trucking equipment, insurance plans, or fuel cards — that we believe may be valuable to our drivers.

When you click on an affiliate link on our website and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products and services that we trust and believe will benefit our community.

You are never obligated to purchase anything through our affiliate links. Your decision to use or not use these links does not affect your job matching, application status, or any service we provide.
