About the position
We are hiring CDL drivers in the Ohio hiring area for OTR‑Dry freight running out‑and‑back lanes across the East region. Enjoy weekend 34‑hour restarts with dedicated planners, plenty of freight, and never far from home. Earn $1,200–$1,400 per week with 1,800 solo miles weekly. Trainees are welcome, no endorsements required. Multiple openings available immediately.
Pay & schedule
- Pay: OTR mileage pay – starts at $0.56/mile (0–6 mo), $0.59 (6–12 mo), $0.60 (1–2 yr)
- Trainee pay: $850/week
- Average weekly earnings: $1,200 – $1,400
- Solo weekly mileage: 1,800 miles
- Short haul pay: $40 for loads under 100 miles
- Stop pay: $15.00 per stop
- Bonus: Driver Performance Bonus (no transition bonus)
Home time & schedule
- Home time: Weekend 34‑hour restarts
- Day, night, and rotating shifts available
- Weekend work: Required
- Holiday work: Aligned with home time (expected)
- Out‑and‑back lanes to Ohio – never far from home

- Equipment: Dry Van
- Load/unload: Live load, live unload, preload, drop & hook
- Lanes: East region – out‑and‑back to Ohio
- Primary hiring states: IN, KY, OH, PA
- Hub cities: Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Louisville, Lexington, Indianapolis, Erie
Driver requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Trainees welcome – no minimum experience required
- Clean MVR and PSP – no major preventable accidents
- Must pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Must live within 120 miles of specified zip codes in IN, KY, OH, PA
- Endorsements: none required
- Owner operators are accepted; teams are not
