About the position

We are hiring CDL drivers in California for OTR dry‑van freight running across the 11 Western States. Enjoy home time every two weeks with consistent, short regional lanes (normally 2 days or less). Earn up to $1,300 per week with 1,700–2,100 miles weekly. Trainees and first-seat drivers are welcome, no endorsements required, and teams are accepted.

Pay & schedule

  • Average weekly earnings: $1,000 – $1,300
  • Solo weekly mileage: 1,700 – 2,100
  • Bonus: Driver Performance Bonus (up to $.06 per mile)
  • Short haul pay: Same as OTR
  • Stop pay: $15.00
  • Unload pay: $20 (assist/pallet jack/tail gate) / $80 (full hand)

Home time & schedule

  • Home time: Every Two Weeks
  • Day, night, and rotating shifts available
  • Weekend work: Required
  • Holiday work: Some Holidays (can coordinate with driver leader)
  • Runs stay within the 11 Western states (option to run beyond if desired)

Driver requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Trainees, first-seat, and 1-year experienced all accepted

  • Must pass DOT physical and drug screen
  • Must live within 1,000 miles of any California zip code
  • Endorsements: none required
  • Owner operators: NOT accepted; Teams: accepted

  • Favorable: Keeps you near home. Runs are normally no more than 2 days. Option to run past the 11 Western states if you want to.
